Square Pie Guys collaborated with Hot Tongue Pizza from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Thursday, August 8: Spicy Pepperoni, Cookout Pie, and Summer Pie, along with lemon pepper and Szechwan spices for cauliflower wings.

Square Pie Guys is where you’ll get some delectable loaded Detroit-style pizzas. This spot brings cheese-crusted edge pan pizzas to Oakland, making every bite a wonderful sensation. With a location in downtown, their dense and salty pies with a crispy crunch are a hit. The 6-by-8-inch pies boast gooey cheese in the middle and crusty cheese on the perimeter. Try classic pepperoni overflowing with cups or go for something unique like the za’atar chicken pie, featuring a spicy and tangy mix of chicken, peppers, olives, and tahini drizzle.

I’ve held onto this Best Dish for a couple of weeks, as I’ve been waiting for the moment when Square Pie Guys releases its limited run of Indian pizzas, and now’s finally the time: the chicken tikka-ish pizza!
